A small victory of reason
Today science and reason had a small victory in the US court case judging the legality of the Dover area school board (in Pennsylvania) vote in October 2004 to require students to hear a statement about intelligent design before learning about evolution in biology classes. Intelligent design is nothing more than the clever packaging of creationism, created by closed minded people who can’t understand that the belief of the existence of a Deity and the existence of Science are absolutely compatible. These are part of a small but very vocal minority in the US, but thanks to the people who brought this lawsuit forward, reason has prevailed again.
